SAFIRE has over the last few years 100% confirmed the Electric Sun model experimentally in the laboratory - in stark contrast to the Standard Model of the Sun, which still after a hundred years hasn't been and cannot be proven experimentally in the laboratory, and which fails to explain many of the observed phenomena of the Sun and its behavior, which and continues to leave scientists surprised and scratching their heads in confusion and wonderment.
The SAFIRE experiment set out to test whether the Electric Sun model was correct or not, and it passed all (100%) of the tests and all (100%) of the predictions of the model flawlessly, and matches up with the observed behavior of the Sun. This is in stark contrast to the Standard Model of the Sun which still hasn't been confirmed (and still leaves scientists today full of wonder and disagreements and surprises), and which nobody has been able to build a functioning model of in a lab.
Nuclear fusion does indeed occur in a star, but not in it's core. Fusion is an effect which occurs in plasma at the surface of the sun.
