I need a fw lake microbiology life chart... Just got a micro scope today, found pic related but i dont know what it is and it looks intresting!

Amscope, 120-b i think... saw bad reviews but as long as i dont use 25x im good. They said anything past 1000x is pointless. Thanks man!

No. Not at the kinds of magnifications you have.

Besides, you need an electron microscope to visualize tiny virus particles (unless you are so fortunate to see one of those giant viruses which can be seen with a light microscope such as the Mimiviruses etc.)

I'd agree. x10 eye piece along with x100 objectives is perfectly adequate for hobbyist/at-home microscopy.

What program do you use to record your images/vids?

The program came on a cd with the scope, programs just called "Amscope"

I have a 4x 10x 40x and 100x(oil) with 10x eye pieces. Dont know anything about optics yet i hope thats right...

definetly not a virus, at 10x it looks way too big for a bacteria
