I'm writing a sci fi series and need to know something.
Is it plausible for an a huge drone botnet ai starfleet a couple of centuries from now to terraform planets and moons in our solar system within 800-1000 years time?

If you're writing sci fi then it doesn't matter if it's realistic or not, it's a work of fiction.
The answer your question, no. An alien civilization would have done it and we'd see it happening but that isn't the case because it isn't possible.

Plausible. Heck think of what was deemed impossible back just 50 years ago. iPhones? Laptops? Cheap reusable rockets? Or 100 years ago when planes were considered impossible.

We know for a fact that we can terraform planets even with current level technology but uncertain of time frame and cost. We have a rudimentary understanding of what an AI might look like, so we know there's a path towards a workable AI(weak or strong). The problem now is timescale and whether the problem of terraforming with drone ai bots would even be a necessity. Maybe 300 years from now, everyone would much rather stuck in virtual reality/matrix style.

Because a sufficiently brilliant tesla like figure a few centuries from now would certainly be able to do it especially if it was in response to a tyrannical dystopian government.
After the first few parts, it builds itself if the architect is smart enough.

Venus could be terraformed if you could move 4*10^19 kg of hydrogen from Jupiter to Venus and build a mirror at Venus L1 - CO2 reacts with H2 and forms carbon and water, there precipitate out and you are left with fairly Earth-like nitrogen atmosphere

say you have a ship that can harvest atmosphere via ramscoop or and has hydrogen fusion drive
Starship sized one (booster included) can carry about 5000t of hydrogen or 5*10^6 kg, so lets say those ships are 200 times larger at 10^9 kg capacity (to make numbers more simple)
if fusion drive allows crazy fast 4 trips a year, that means you need 10000000 of these babies to work 24/7 over the 1000 years

say you have Clark's Rama - 20 km long, 12 km wide cylinder and you *somehow* fill the entire thing with liquid hydrogen to the brim, that gives you capacity of 1,5*10^14 kg of hydrogen
you would only need fleet of about 2500 Ramas, if each could make one cargo trip every single year for mere 100 years

of course, the 2500 Ramas would have combined livable internal surface of 600000 sq km, which is about the size of Ukraine and a little less than Texas so you would have whole lot of extra space once you're done with terraforming
