yes but I was very young (about 10). some sort of star doing zigzags. it then stopped, stayed there for hours, just static in the night sky until I fell asleep. I just assume it was a distant helicopter but the movement was so mechanical.

I think about it from time to time and think about how weirdly alien it was but I just rationalise it away.

anyone know what would move like that? its intrigued me since then on and off.

In the dream, we were playing on our street, then a giant saucer appeared in the sky, descented close to us and ayy lmaos got out of it. Everyone started running, but i tripped and fell. Tried to standup, but I was paralyzed, saw that the ayy lmaos notice me and started walking in my direction and woke up.
Pretty normal alien nightmare, but thats not the weird part. The weird part is, years later, me and my best friend were talking about nightmares we had and he told me that he had the EXACT same dream, but from his PoV(saw me how I fall, how I cant move and how the lmaos come for me, before he woke up), without me ever telling this dream to anyone. Weird shit

Yes. I still wonder if there is another explanation but some group of entities with advanced technology is watching us from the sky and I met them as a child. The memory is foggy because the adults gaslit me by calling me a sociopathic liar and basically torturing me for the next couple of decades until I moved elsewhere.

They had a long talk with me. I remember such highlights as "are you a peasant" (rural location) "do you really think you should be lighting fires you can't put out" (chernobyl/manhattan reference) "why did you kill all the animals bigger than you but leave the elephants" "we want to talk to the people who really run things because your politicians are stupid" "you won't be allowed off this planet until you can behave yourselves" and they also complained about the jews.

No wonder the adults thought I was crazy.

It's not evolutionarily advantageous to believe that fundamental indeterminism could explain our experience of choice and self-control, it's just an error in thinking that wasn't harmful - not that our ancestors much even thought analytically about what it means to be able to "choose", they had just a rough everyday understanding of it which doesn't conflict with determinism.
