>>11923315You solve the cube in parts. The whole idea is to solve more of the cube but don’t mess up the parts you already solved. You figure out ways to manipulate the cube without changing the already solved parts, and then it’s just a matter of getting everything aligned using that method.
What I did was I solved one side (the whole side, not only the face colors, but the colors perpendicular to the face) intuitively. It’s actually quite easy to do. Then the rest of it is just figuring out ways to rotate pieces without destroying the solved part. You have to try different rotations in order to get what you want, and you can’t be afraid of destroying the solved parts in the process of finding the algorithm. Once you know how to solve a particular part, you can regain all your progress within minutes of you mix up the cube
