Does anyone have a good memorisation method for strings of letters and numbers where the case of the letters (uppercase or lowercase) is significant?
For example, if I want to remember the URL for
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jpZL9d4B5M
what would be the best way to do that?
Is there a way I can chunk not just combinations of letters and numbers, but specifically combinations of particular upper and lowercase letters along with numbers?
I was thinking I might be able to break the string down into places. So a string of 11 characters could be thought of as having 11 places.
Then I could observe which places the lowercase letters, uppercase letters and numbers were in.
So, for 9jpZL9d4B5M,
Lowercase letters: 2,3,7 -> 237
Uppercase letters: 4,5,9,11 -> 45911
Numbers: 1,6,8,10 -> 16810
Then come up with things to remember the lowercase, uppercase and numbers jpd, ZLBM, 9945, and remember how to distribute them using 237, 45911, 16810.
Maybe convert the string to 2374591116810JPDZLBM9945.
I'd still probably need to write that down to remember the places that the lowercase, uppercase, and numbers need to go, but I think it'd be doable.
What I'm ideally looking for is some database or some place I can go that has different meanings laid out for not just combinations of numbers and letters, but combinations of uppercase letters, lowercase letters and numbers.
So, for example, somewhere that had memorable things for 9jp, but also 9Jp, 9jP and 9JP, all as separate things.
