Maybe there are some medical nerds on here that can answer this question for me.
Long story short, I attempted suicide a short while ago, by taking 6000 mg of Prozac (the normal dose is 20 - 80). I felt fine, until the next morning, when I realized I COULDN'T WALK. Or even stand. I got dressed (took about 20 minutes), crawled out of my bedroom, went down the stairs on my bum, one by one, and sat on the floor at the front door and called an ambulance. They had to use a special chair to get me down the outside steps. This inability to stand/move properly continued for about 12 hours.
Does anyone know why this would happen? As far as I know, serotonin doesn't play a role in motor function, so I'm just interested, medically, why this happened.
(I'm fine, and not suicidal now)
