What I can tell you is that an important step to deal with procrastination is recognizing that is a response to anxiety.
Don't think that having anxiety is wrong, since it is actually telling you that there is something important going on and you need to prepare for it and if you don't you won't like the outcome.
What is actually a bad idea is thinking that feeling anxiety is a sign of a faulty character and that you need to soldier it on, this creates denial and repression, you just bury the rubble under the carpet and it will come back to bite you up the ass, you can't tell the lymbic system that he's not feeling what he feels, it's like telling the rain that it's not wet.
