Schooling has completly ruined the interesting area of scientific subjects. Learning about how our world works has gone from discovering to "studying". Why should science justs be for "academics"? When I go looking for a book about science, I shouldn't have to sift through boring as fuck academic textbooks I have no interest in. This whole pupil focused science for school is a terrible way to learn about science and leaves out laymen and normal people. I am not a student, I just want to know more about science.
