I had always assumed I was going back to school someday to study physics in depth, but this seems idiotic now. I don't want to pay the opportunity cost, for starters. I don't want to deal with the politics that seems to have taken over universities, and I can't justify paying tens of thousands of dollars for a hobby. (I need to save for the little one's college anyway.)
Thoughts? So far, I've been buying the odd book and working through MIT OCW. Is that a good way to expand my knowledge?
