Would it be unethical to just outright execute or severely torture and beat anti-vaxxers, flat-earthers, homeopaths, anti-maskers and creationists and the like, until they are compelled to abandon their positions ?

If positions are absolutely supported by scientific evidence, why should the state not simply crush those who constantly spread hysteria and ignorance reducing the intelligence of the nation? Why not physically remove pseudoscience from society?
