Who cares either way? Do you have any argument against eating insects that isn't emotionally driven? Having different foods available is a good thing. Grasshoppers I have eaten fried and they're tasty. It's just another animal that you can eat; nothing more and nothing less.

Literally impossible. All carbon molecules in a cow come from their food, and all carbon molecules in cow's good come from he atmosphere by photosynthesis

Yes but it already has sources to obtain carbon and oxygen, that's how it grew in the first place. Now you have extra CO2 in the atmosphere that isn't being absorbed by anything
