Whats the opinions of /sci/ on the electric universe model of the thunderbolts project etc?

Some things it says are very appealing and line up very well with plasma physics demonstrations, so I wanted to get others opinions.

Please don't appeal to authority and use stupid terms like "debunked" etc and actually highlight contradictions instead of just state they exist. This way we can either confirm or refute EU straight away instead of have a flame war. Thanks.
