Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those "relativity deniers", I just don't understand why in modern culture the word "einstein" = "genius, very smart person". Why not Maxwell or Tesla or any other scientist? I haven't found any proofs of "newton" used in the same sense prior. Neither I know of any great impact of Einsteins works on my life. My hypothesis is that Einstein was just a political pawn, and his role was to be a 'genius' for common folks and push concrete ideas to masses. Just like Soborno Isaac is nowadays.

Am I wrong? What do you think /sci?
