guys help

how do I see the comet, I have gotten up an hour before sunrise for the last three days and I don't see it.

It says it's going to be visible after sunset now, how do I see it? Has anyone here seen it?

i've observed it several mornings the past week. i didn't see it this morning. i thought it would be clearly visible, and i couldn't even catch the tail. evening is probably your best bet at this point

It's really low at the horizon at your latitude so that explains why you haven't been able to see it.

It will get lower and lower until it reaches a point were it will be visible after Sunset instead. Hopefully the comet hasn't dimmed too much.

Download an app for sky observation. I'm using star walk 2 but you need the paid version to see the comet so maybe there are other apps. However, it can use your phones GPS and gyros to know your location and orientation and even has an AR mode for overlaying the sky objects over your camera view. That makes it really easy to find stuff, like the comet, because you know exactly where you should be looking to see it.
Everything else comes down to obstacles, light pollution and atmosphere.

Forgot to say that you can also set a different time and see where objects would be then. That feature doesn't work with AR or your phones tracking tho, it just takes your position and you have to move the sky manually. But it still works great to see, for example, where the comet will be 12 hours from now in relation to North, or the moon or whatever

skysafari is the go-to sky watching app, the free version has everything including comets, artificial satellites. It even has an encyclopedia of sorts with info about each notable object, like history of observation, discoveries, origin/etymology of proper names and Greek mythos for constellations.

It has alredy dimmed quite a bit
if you live in light polluted area you'll have hard time seeing it at all

I saw it tonight with a pretty decent amount of light pollution. It was very dim but clearly visible. Hopefully it stays bright enough to see for a few more nights

Depends what day, but now it's mostly an evening object. Look low in the NNW after about 10:30 PM local Daylight Saving time. Look below the pointer stars of the Big Dipper (Plough).
