The Thymus.

Why is there so little known about this organ? It almost feels like there's an intentional cover up of some sort, there's so much basic info out there about such a critical organ that even immune experts know nothing about.

Here are some facts about the Thymus:

- it's where T cells mature and differentiate into specific forms
- it starts rotting when you reach adulthood (involution). However,
- it's preserved in fat people
- it's preserved in women
- it's preserved with zinc supplementation
- it can even be partially restored with zinc supplementation
- it's preserved in Asian people
- Asians also have the highest rates of thymus cancer (makes sense, whites can't get cancer in an organ they literally don't have)

How is it that a random 20 year old like me can know these things, while actual immunologists I've talked to don't know these things?

It's literally the organ that makes T cells (and therefore B cells by extension) work properly. Why are these basic facts so well hidden?
