I agree that science evolves over time.

You stated several things that are erroneous. "Climate change" is very real and in all likelihood cyclical. The cause of it is questionable definitely. Even if it is not caused by humans, why wouldn't we try to mitigate it? The composition of atmospheric gases is likely caused by humans and in my opinion is as serious as climate change. Why wouldn't we try to mitigate that as well?

Humans will probably be pissing against the wind regarding both of these now in how they can affect either, but why would we contribute to our demise, rather than giving it a shot?
