How come what u contribute to society isn’t correlated with what u receive from society? The most fortunate and most privileged people in western civilization are beautiful women and handsome men, but they are the least useful element of that civilization. In contrast the people who do the hard labor that is important - the only good or deserving people in other words - get nothing but suffering out of civilization. To say this seems unfair is an asinine understatement. Why do only the worst people get to have decent lives?
