Each cell would need:
Some sort of genetic code -> nucleus
An efficient way to generate energy carrying molecules (like ATP); whether that is via oxidative phospohrylation or not, conceivably there will have to be a compartment where that occurs -> mitochondria
Any multicellular complex organism needs to be able to have endocrine, exocrine, autocrine and paracrine function -> some sort of Golgi body to facilitate this
Waste disposal -> lysosomes/peroxisomes
