I was talking to someone about handwriting analysis and the effect it can have on personality. I told them it was bullshit etc but then I realised that I've actually not read anything about it that was credible. I figure it can tell some stuff based on the situation, for instance if writing were rushed at a crime scene that could indicate something. Getting back on track though, I doubted severely it could have any major indicator of personality but I realised that asperger's (now high-functioning autism) tends to have a fairly high comorbidity with lower handwriting, as do doctors, lawyers and various other "high-up" professionals. Is there any (credible) research on handwriting analysis? I'm still dubious as to its credibility and efficacy but I would be interested to look into it never the less. Thank you in advance.
