The idea is This identity is pretty much down to this relation, using the fact that is a singular value of the elliptic modulus, and when you have these singular values which are typically denoted then you can express and so on in terms of the gamma function. A fuckload of their special values are tabulated like this.
So from that first identity, what you then do is write down the Fourier series of dn, which is just
