All mammals emit pheromons, including humans, the debate is more to know if humans are able to detect and be influenced by them.
The meme was that human had poor smell but it was a misconception and it's actually pretty alright.
I remember reading about an experience with women smelling sweaty t-shirt and rating them differently in terms of pleasantness.
