If you're at the center of a rotating platform and you shoot a ball at a target directly in front of you at the edge of the rotating platform, are you going to hit it?

There's no air drag and the platform always rotates at the same speed.

The angular speed is always the same but the actual speed is different depending on how close you're to the edge of the platform. That's why I'm confused.
