I am developing a chart to outline core elements of mathematics that should be taught at every level of learning process.

Would you say this chart (draft) will prove efficient at teaching the principles of mathematics to elementary children?

How would you improve it?

I'm not sure where to put this on the chart specifically but I always wished that early math included more of a spatial element throughout. I remember having this epiphany sometime in elementary school that all math is graphs or could be graphed and that shapes were just part of graphs. I know this may sound really brainlet tier but kids in class would always ask like
>oh this topic we're learning, are we going to have to graph this too?
and half the time the answer was no, so a lot of the time in my head I was making distinctions like
>okay shapes are shapes not graphs/graph related
Maybe I just went to a terrible elementary school though.

There. 6 levels for grades K-5, to improve mathematics teaching for elementary children. This is standard education in Ghana.
Maybe for dumb Americans each level is 2 years, and kindergarten is more for preparing students for math, so then it becomes for grades 1-12.

you need order of operations, decimals, percents, word problems, solving proportions, properties of exponents, more geometry with triangles, quadrilaterals (definitions area/perimeter etc), multiplication facts/tables, converting fractions to decimals, scientific notation, converting units, converting numbers to written words (e.g. one hundred fifty-six), writing algebraic expressions as words and converting words to algebraic expressions, operations with mixed numbers, zero and negative exponents, various forms of linear equations (point slope, standard, converting between them, etc), d=rt problems, "mixture" problems (system of equations word apps), algebra terminology/vocab, etc etc etc

"values of algebraic expressions" should be called "evaluating algebraic expressions"
for algebra II - logs, exponential equations, log equations, converting bt log and exponent form, graphing polynomials, graphing rational functions, synthetic division, polynomial division, graphing radical functions, function domain and range, function inverses!!!, geometry proofs, geometry theorems, definitions, distance formula, etc
