Is there a good intro to quantum field theory using a top down approach?

All the texts I found so far are introducing the topic bottom up. One has to go through hundreds of pages of
tedious handwavy physicist math and examples and the authors suggest that in the end it all somehow make sense. I would prefer to start with a good intuitive overview before going deeper into the details.
