Why do public schools teach you to memorize formulas rather than breaking down the rules of math and telling you how the formula was composed? All my teachers ever did was teach me to memorize test answers. Now that I'm beginning to see the simplicity and order behind math it makes me so fucking pissed. Why didn't they explain WHY annotations did what they did? They aren't teaching math, they're drilling useless memorized answers. They're basically just cheating their way through their own job. Actually having a good teacher is making me enraged at those dumbfucks at my shitty rural highschool.
