Hello smart people, a tourist from /pol/ here. Just saw a video of a physicists using Gödel's incompleteness theory to base atheism, but Ive heard it argued the other way around to justify existence of God and religiosity. Gödel himself was religious and a theist Christian. I understand that a scientific theory is independent from the researcher and it is the essence of theory that matters not the background of the author, but there must be a reason why he himself though his ideas led to religion and God. Im extraordinarily retarded so if you could please explain to me the application of this theory on religion and possibly politics/ideology like you would explain it to a moron I would greatly appreciate it.
