All the nouns and verbs are replaced with "symbolism" or very abstracted ideas of a thought that sometimes has double or triple meaning and is easily mistranslated or misunderstood by the conscious mind. The basic premise of the idea is sound and your subconscious is telling you it's true, because it is, which is why you believe it, but the literal meaning is lost in translation. I think Jung would agree.
