>>11874827You can try to postpone the problem by bullshitting your nested definitions until (you hope) people stop asking you questions, but the fact is that no matter how you slice it, you are ultimately relying on one or more definitions which are completely subjective(and typically the buck stops at "information"), and that becomes the weak point of your entire system.
I won't take you up on your invitation to play semantics. You can keep closing your eyes, but the loss is entirely yours for not being aware of this important problem. If you think you can play semantic games to make the problem go away, you're only fooling yourself.
I anticipate a complaint about how this is too philosophical and not related to computer science, but by the time we're defining turing machines we're already way past the point where this should've come up.
