Bad science is not a poorly conducted study, that is just not science. Bad science is science conducted with an agenda that seeks to either
1. Increase the foundation of knowledge that supports something that has already been presented as a truth (i.e. trying to gather data that proves something specific instead of analyzing the results and simply determining what truth they prove.)
2. Applies knowledge in a way that does harm to persons or people
