do you mean "good" science as in "worthwhile" or "quality"?
The example pic seems ridiculous at first glance, but it clearly describes the value of the study which makes it worthwhile.

Good science: genuinely seeks to either
1. Increase the foundation of knowledge in the world that helps us define truth, or as close to truth as is currently possible in any given field of study.
2. Applies knowledge in a way that is to the benefit of persons or people

Bad science is not a poorly conducted study, that is just not science. Bad science is science conducted with an agenda that seeks to either
1. Increase the foundation of knowledge that supports something that has already been presented as a truth (i.e. trying to gather data that proves something specific instead of analyzing the results and simply determining what truth they prove.)
2. Applies knowledge in a way that does harm to persons or people

There isnt good or bad science, there are good and bad scientists. At the end of the day, 99% of people don‘t know anything beyond hs stuff so you need to make sure that you don‘t send them crap. And no, cancer treatments with 10 people that have not been reproduced and have p-hacking are not something you should send to people as science

What do you consider as truth? Is it some end goal, a great mystery that when cracked will change universe forever? Or is it bits of pieces that together make greater picture? Can you be sure what truth is? Would you recognize it when you'd see it? What drives you to seek truth?

What does benefit to people? And again, what does harm people? I think it's double-edged sword, because what does good do to people in short term may hurt them in the long. And vice versa, when you hurt person in the short them, they may actually benefit from it in the long one. But people avoid harm and seek safety and that's possibly becuase it's natural tendency.

I don't know answers yet and perhaps I'm wrong, but I ask nonetheless.
