>>11872146What do you think of: Singularity AI will self-improve to the limits of IC silicon transitor tech by fixing human errors and optimizing inefficient human solutions, it'll be just like Moore's law for a bit (which is running out btw, intel on full damage control), bottom out when quantum tunnelling prohibits making processors any more dense and then the AI will be faced with conducting completely novel research and it will sometimes fail and make mistakes (with consequences) and progress will slow significantly. It'll be huge but I don't think it'll ever take off into infinity.
