Why is there always a feminist version of every philosophical/scientific concept?
This is from the article "feminist epistemology". Shouldn't the thing about these concepts be that they're universal and apply to all humans?

Y'all highlighted a single part of that and started beating on it without the context of the rest. The point of this whole paragraph is that epistemological values are not truly objective and that their current incarnation is a reflection of the minds who created it. Therefore there is inherent biases encoded into our conceptions of what sort of justifications are valid and what sort of knowledge-seeking behaviour is appropriate.

Not saying all of epistemology is wrong by any stretch, but recognizing that we have encoded political and ethical values into our method of acquiring knowledge, then figuring out how to untangle them is kind of important in my opinion.

It's because the Feminists accomplished their goal ~40 years ago. Women are equal under the law. Without an actual problem to solve, they latch onto anything popular/important, like a parasite, and drain its respectability dry before clamping onto the next thing.

It's focused specifically on gender, the idea of the patriarchy is an auxiliary one to the conception of how the gender of a person affects what is considered appropriate for seeking knowledge and what concepts were codified as important for justification. Everything I said is the justification given in the non-highlighted region for why woman may be disadvantaged in academic settings

I mean, just look at the justice system. You put a man and a woman up for the same crime and the ratio of women being arrested to make is fucking stupid small.

There are thousands of people out there that just write about feminist theory (think about the amount of women study professors there are in the world). There is Only so much you can write about that is actually about truly about feminism so they write about other things too. I know in a philosophy textbook I don’t have anymore they show all the different theorists idea of something and responses from other theorists. The main response to feminist theory of shit is this has nothing to do with gender and other shit.
