scientifically speaking, why is bacon so good?
everyone knows bacon is good. but why? did humans evolve to find crispy-cooked slices of bacon back/belly delicious? was it some sort of highly beneficial food for our ancestors and we inherited the taste for it? or did pigs somehow evolve the best-tasting molecules, and if so why?
and no i'm not talking about shitty fast-food bacon or frozen shit. the real stuff. it's so unbelievably delicious it defies scientific reasoning
