Other fields which have massive amounts of active research like ML you're much, much more likely to get in to.
Pure mathematics is pretty much solely carried by the top 1% in intelligence at this point, maybe top 5%, if you're not in there and pretty creative, you're not gonna get anywhere. But mathematical physics is just shit.
