I don't see why it wouldn't be addictive, it literrally creates a chemical dependence throughn hormone modulation, but I think coke and meth probably get more actual dopamine and shit going through your system, so they are probably more addictive

natural/habit addictions =/= substance addiction.
the only category porn addiction can put under is natural or behavioral addiction and it is not a widely accepted concept and many think it's wrong.
btw "internet gaming" is considered a behavioral addiction by DSM-5 and gambling and gaming are the only behavioral addictions recognized by DSM-5

Part of the problem is availability of porn. Imagine if scattered around your house and workplace their was free Starbucks, caffeinated pastry dishes, caffeinated chocolate galore, caffeinated soda - all for free at all times - it would become easy to develop a high daily caffeine intake. It's the same with porn - it's free and shoved in your face all the time unless you take extensive steps to avoid it. Porn is like a short-circuit for your sex drive, that would otherwise be channeled into relationships, self-improvement and work. I feel like guys social skills would improve like 50% if it was restricted like in China, and this would have a spin-off effect in making society more fun and social.

In my life I used, weed, alcohol, caffeine, cocaine, LSD, mushrooms, ecstasy, tobacco and others, I tried to quit them all and had no problems, I'm several years free from most. I also tried to quit porn, the last time I fapped was 2 hours ago.

I do have sex, but it is too hard, I can only do it on the weekend when I'm seeing someone, watching porn and masturbating is way easier and always available, that's why it is so hard to quit.
