Hard work is all that is needed.
Maybe your fundamental knowledge or the basics of math was taught to you incorrectly or sloppily. You need to find that problem and fix it to then continue on the path of mathematics.

One Sommer vacation I decided to literally start my physics knowledge from scratch. Started with physics books meant for children etc.. Degrading at first but finally I excelled. In those weeks I finished all examples in that book without fail aswell as fixed the reason for sucking at Vektorgeometrie.
Now have no problems in my engineering courses what so ever and can easily get the best grades.
All you have to do is find the small problem that is giving you a false view on things. Maybe it was something you understood incorrectly at the time.
