Do dubs actually increase the likelihood of something happening?

Let's say Anon 2 gets dubs and the OP does in fact proceed to coom, did the appearance of the dubs really have any effect on his decision?
Is the existence of those dubs and the post a reason for the manifestation of the cooming session in question? Assuming OP in an honorable man and obeys the digits.
