You must understand that the scientific method and science can never answer the 'why'. When we get the most reductive about it and think of it in terms of moving particles, saying "WHY does this pattern of music sound 'good'" is not ever answerable by science even in principle. All it can say is, "we correlate this music, which is a pattern of waves in the air, with release of dopamine, and dopamine is the 'feel good' molecule for humans". There can never be an explanation for why dopamine makes the qualitative experience of 'feel good', or why for some hypothetical alien species it might actually feel bad, etc.
All we can say is that "this pattern of electrons and particles moving in this way, which is caused by such and such physical interaction (like dopamine inside a human), has so and so qualitative properties". You will NEVER have a reason for this. Evolutionary explanations are obviously not reductive and thus irrelevant to the true philosophical nature of the question.
So yea man, that just be the way it be. The molecules of the universe when organized in the pattern of "you listening to some piece of music" has that qualitative experience.
