>>11854050We only ((see)) in 2D so no. Anyway, if this were a 4D phenomenon it would imply a closed (finite) universe as these must exist inside >=4D space (and so on). We have observed via background radiation that the universe is not 4D (it is infinite, and does not curve back on itself like a 3D hypersurface would). There are also easier ways to explain and reproduce the phenomenon which do not required extra dimensions.
