Unless there's some special *works outside the system* mechanic involved in decision making and freedom of though our entire life is basically scripted. It's merely that we don't know what'll happen most of the time. As everything is just a reaction towards another due to the laws that's incredibly complex but no matter how often you'd run through the exact same parts with the exact same setup affected by the exact same laws the outcome would always be the same. Our decision making and character is just what will always happen the same likewise. I'm not saying there's some higher being or plan behind this but just that all the consequences are merely logical, not decided, as that'd require an outside the system mechanic but we're made of matter that obeys the laws. And if it was decided by an outside system that'd have to obey other laws to function somehow too.
