Could it be that the tighter normal distribution of IQ for females makes it such that there are less dumbass females bringing down the lifespan? The accompanying higher proportion of ultra smart men does not act as a counterbalance to this because increased IQ probably has a diminishing returns effect on lifespan. Super high IQ might even have a maladaptive effect. Thoughts?
