It was my great-grandparents that we’re in the Holocaust, but when they were in the camps, one thing the nazi officers would do to torment the Jews would be to make them carry a large sand bag, too big to be able to look down, they’d whip and beat the poor jew and make him run forward and once he was running too fast to see what was around him they’d turn him around and make him run off a cliff and fall to his death, they weren’t even trying to execute people just doing it for the fun of seeing the confusion on his face as he looked down and realized there was no more ground there after running over the edge
