If you have 1000 wax statues and you line them all up in a line with the left most statue looking like he's about to swing a baseball bat and the right most statue looking like he just hit a home run, with every statue in between being the intermediary stages between the left most statue and the right most statue, and you assign the left most statue the value 0 and the right most statue the number 2, would you say you have a spectrum or statues or a scale? As in what vocabulary is correct?
