No, that's "pseuds" that claim that, not "scientists." Science is an application of philosophy. That's why people who get PhDs are called "doctors of philosophy." Philosophy means "love of wisdom."

Force, absolute vs relative time, curvature of "spacetime", virtual particles, quantum fields, electrons, photons, collapse of the wave function -- all those are metaphysical claims. Scientists claim that this is the nature of reality. But please show me any of those things. They are not backed by empiricism.

no, scientists claim that these models and abstractions we call "force", "photons", etc. approximate the nature of reality and allow us to make fairly accurate predictions. scientists cannot describe the true nature of anything
