thoughts on the triad that Andy and Sabrina and Monica and the rest of his Harvard group are all into?

i think it’s cool. it’s like they dug up all these weird things about soft theorems and low-energy gauge boson interactions and related it to symmetries at infinity. so it sounds like it connects to AdS/CFT. but does it? seems kinda useless imho. unless the memory effect has something to do with the black hole information problem. but nobody has made the connection there yet. is it all just a red herring or is somebody going to pop the lid off and get famous with this stuff?
