Can someone actually redpill me on the truth about iq tests? I’ve heard some say it’s pseudoscience, I’ve heard others say it’s that best single predictor at your success in life.

I don’t care one way or another I’d just like someone stripped of all emotions and politics to tell me the god’s honest truth about it. Would also help if they could provide sources for me to do further research into it.
