Class 1 is basically any mask made out of cloth. This stops some of the particles and slows down the exhale so that if you're infected, it doesn't spread.
Class 2 is slightly better not really sure what the difference is
Class 3 is the one which protects from inhalation, this is what healthcare professionals are using.
The public is advised class 1 to stop the spread, not to stop getting infected.
