Why I can't understand calculus?

I have a good background in algebra and statistics, but I can't do well in calculus.

Tbh it's just about the convenience of dividing something by x and saying x = 0 but you can't do that so you say x is infinitely small or close to 0 hope it helps bro

Well you clearly need a greater understanding of trigonometric identities.
Derivatives are really simple and you can do many of them in your head, and trig identities tend to simplify the solution most of the time.
Review your precalc/trig, unit circle, etc

Well, as the rest of the anonymous said, trigo is awesome. But for me calculus finally clicked when I got epsilon down. In my uni they called calculus "infi" meaning infinitely small. This is the scale where trigonometry makes sense for non linear functions.

Derivatives are just slopes. 2nd derivative is the slope of the slope. Integrals are just finding the area of something.
