How realistic is it that trees are just very slow humans? Just like humans in the kingdom of animals are trees the most sophisticated (in terms of collective living, processing sensory information etc.) under the plants.
And they basically have everything that would be required for consciousness, just that we can't notice it because everything is slower on trees. To be fair we can't even properly prove consciousness on animals yet but trees are definitely underrated
