What’s the best way to prepare for Calc 1? I’m going back to school as an oldfag who hasn’t had a math class in years.

this but imo it's worth highlighting factoring and expanding polynomials and basic trig knowledge, since these are the more easily forgettable ones from my experience

Calc 1 is by no means hard, you just need plain knowledge of basic math. I'd say make sure you have those subjects nailed and it'll be easy peasy like khan courses

d/dx of x^n = nx^(n-1) : Solves for slope of fcn at all pts

integral of x^n = x^(n+1)/n+1 + constant : Solves for area under fcn between pts
